1. Individuals indicate
interest in starting chapter. |
1. Acknowledge and welcome their
effort. |
2. Send them the chapter creation
package:

| Letter of Intent |
2. Individuals return
the letter of intent (template
3) with a plan (actions, dates) (template
4) - specifically, the next activity has been defined and
a deadline assigned to it. They commit to sending a monthly
status report (template
5 and template
6) to the Director of International and Organizational Affairs. |
3. IFPUG recognizes them as Candidate
Chapter and includes them in appropriate lists. |
| 4. IFPUG provides information and
answers questions as they work toward their first deadline. |
| 5. IFPUG sends letters of invitation
to potential chapter members. |
| 6. When the deadline arrives, IFPUG
follows-up on them. |
| Minimum Number of Members Achieved |
3. Candidate Chapter sends monthly
status report (template
5 and template
6) informing IFPUG of their progress towards achieving the
minimum number of members until the goal has been reached. |
7. IFPUG recognizes the achievement
by sending a certificate indicating that they are now a Provisional
Chapter. |
| Getting Organized |
4. Provisional Chapter continues
to report monthly on the organization of the chapter until all
Chapter requirements have been satisfied. |
8. IFPUG verifies the all the steps
have been taken and formally announces the creation of a new
Chapter. |
| 5. Provisional Chapter sends organization
documents to IFPUG: |
9. IFPUG adds the new
Chapter to its website. |
