CFPS in India

Author Message   Hardev S Posted on Tuesday, September 27, 2005 - 01:47 am:    1. I have read in the brochure that one has to be a ifpug member to appear for certification. And the ifpug membership completes in the FISCAL year that is June 30. So if I apply for membership now, my membership finishes on June 30. And also, if the exam is held in India next Sept 2006, then I need to renew the membership again to appear for the exam. 2. Could anyone provide information as to if CFPS exam will be planned for Bangalore/India? 3. As the FP classes are not held in Bangalore/India, am I missing anything if I takeup the exam without the classes. Also, any ways to get the practice exams? 4. Is the exam 4.2 or 4.1.1 based? Is an individual membership required to appear in the CFPS exam? 2. Any number of individuals from a given Corporate Member may take the CFPS Exam. I hope this information is of some assistance. Why is this discrepancy in the actual data and data displayed on the web site ? Your company's name not appearing on the website will not stop you from giving the exam. Regards, Pranay
