Guidelines for IFPUG BBS usage
This Bulletin Board is intended for software metrics and project management discussions. IFPUG strongly encourages the free discussion of such ideas. Information about vendors and certified tools are available in the Functional Measurement Promotion elsewhere on this site. The Bulletin Board is NOT to be used to:
-attack an individual or group, -discuss topics other than functional measurement, software metrics and project management, or -self-promote products and services except as allowed in the following.
Postings in the Functional Measurement Promotion thread promoting services or products in alignment with advancing the IFPUG membership are allowed. The postings will be reviewed by a moderator prior to being visible to the community.
Job postings for software measurement practitioners will be allowed. Other job postings will be deleted.
Postings will be reviewed for possible archival after 6 months.
The new postings will be reviewed each day. Any posting that does not meet the guidelines stated above will be deleted. If a posting is deleted, the author will be notified via email (providing an email address was provided) listing the reasons for the deletion. Persons wishing to contest a decision of the review process may submit such a request to any member of the IFPUG Board of Directors. A person may request a review of a message for removal, or request a second review of a message, if posting is refused. If, after review by the IFPUG Board of Directors, it is determined that a message was posted or refused posting in error, the situation will be corrected.
