Hi, Is it possible that at the end of an enhancement count we come up with a zero data points count but a non-zero transaction points count? If so, can someone give a simple example where such a situation might occur? thx. | ||

I'm not sure what you mean by "data points" and "transaction points." Those are not FP terminology. Do you mean "data functions" and "transactional functions?" An enhancement project FP count with zero ILFs and EIFs, but non-zero EIs, EOs, and/or EQs? It is quite common for enhancement projects not to modify ILFs and EIFs. Suppose the end users submit a requirement for a modification to a report: Two new columns are to be added, but the data to populate them is already stored on an ILF. The project count will include the report (an EO or EQ), but not the ILF. |
