What’s ahead in 2012?
IFPUG’s CMC committee is working hard to harness the power of social media to facilitate communication between members so that we can all grow our knowledge and use of Function Point Analysis and other measurements.
eBlasts: मध्ये 2012, you can expect to receive eBlasts from us on Tuesdays at least twice a month, but no more than weekly. We know that as busy professionals, you already get more than your share of emails and we’re committed to bringing you timely updates without spamming your inbox. All those wishing to submit an eblast must do so by Friday, 5 p.m. EST prior to the desired Tuesday release.
Web updates: We’re redesigning the website in 2012. That’s really all we can tell you now, but we’ll be sure to provide more details as they become available. Until the redesign is complete, continue to submit updates for the web site via the established process. Web updates will be processed in the order in which they are received. Pending updates are gathered and submitted to our web site support weekly on Fridays at 5 p.m. EST.
Google+: We’re still in the process of establishing a presence on Google+. We’ll make sure to tell you how to add us to your circles once we’ve got things in place.
Social Share Bar: Every eblast is accompanied by a “Social Share Bar” at the top of our email. Please Like, Tweet & + us to get the word out. The more we share, the stronger all of our networks become, and the more discussion can occur to improve IFPUG functional size measurement and application.
